Agro startup achieves + 12% in production using carbon dioxide

Increase productivity by 12% with technology applied directly to the seed. This was possible after intense research on the application of carbon dioxide in seeds, especially in soybean, corn and beans. This is the achievement of the startup agritech Dioxd. Tests in laboratories and plantations confirm the success that can leverage Brazilian production.

 

The studies were developed by agronomy student João Americo Macori Barboza. Born in the cereal region of Paraná, the capital of agribusiness in the region, Londrina.

 

The idea started early, at a science fair. At the age of 12, João Americo Barboza developed an agricultural technique with laboratory experiments. From then on, with the encouragement of the school’s teachers and the family of farmers, he began to develop scientific initiation research aimed at the field. From then on, he accumulated participations and prizes in several agricultural technology fairs around the world, especially in the United States and Italy. Here in Brazil the highlight was at the science fair at the University of São Paulo (USP), among others.

 

The startup Dioxd went through all the field tests, with the approval of universities and Kasuya Inteligência Agronômica, a consolidated agronomic engineering company in the MATOPIBA region, which comprises part of the states of Maranhão, Tocantins, Piauí and Bahia. Kasuya also operates in Mato Grosso.

 

The current phase is the presentation of the Dioxd case to investors with the intention of placing the product on the market on a large scale. The startup is accelerated by Cyklo Agritech, in Luís Eduardo Magalhães, Bahia.

Startup agro consegue + 12% na produção com uso de gás carbônico

 

 

Aumentar a produtividade em 12% com uma tecnologia aplicada diretamente na semente. Isso foi possível após intensa pesquisa da aplicação de gás carbônico nas sementes, em especial nas culturas soja, milho e feijão. Essa é a conquista da startup agritech Dioxd. Os testes em laboratórios e nas plantações confirmam o sucesso que pode alavancar a produção brasileira.

 

Os estudos foram desenvolvidos pelo estudante de agronomia João Americo Macori Barboza. Natural da região celeira do Paraná, a capital do agronegócio na região, Londrina.

 

A ideia começou cedo, numa feira de ciências. Aos 12 anos de idade João Americo Barboza desenvolveu uma técnica agrícola com experimentos de laboratório. A partir dali, com incentivo dos professores da escola e da família de agricultores, foi desenvolvendo pesquisas de iniciação científica voltadas ao campo. Dali em diante foi acumulando participações e prêmios em diversas feiras de tecnologias agrícolas pelo mundo, em especial nos Estados Unidos e Itália. Aqui no Brasil o destaque foi na feira de ciências da Universidade de São Paulo (USP) entre outras.

 

A startup Dioxd passou por todos os testes de campo, com aval de universidades e da Kasuya Inteligência Agronômica, empresa de engenharia agronômica consolidada na região do MATOPIBA, que compreende parte dos estados do Maranhão, Tocantins, Piauí e Bahia. A Kasuya também atua no Mato Grosso.
